For Immediate Release

From September 19-22, 2019, the APFD&SC will host its annual Convention at Old Orchard Inn, Greenwich, in the beautiful Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia.

Thursday will commence with a golf tournament at Ken-Wo Golf Club in New Minas and for those non-golfers, we will embark on a double-decker bus and explore five wineries on the Magic Winery Bus Tour.

Friday will be the first of our three education days and we will welcome Wallace “Wally” Hooker to speak about practical applications in the embalming room. Wally is a sought after speaker and his no-nonsense and practical approach has earned him a faithful following. On Friday evening, we will make our way to picturesque Halls Harbour where we will enjoy a lobster supper at Halls Harbour Lobster Pound. (Alternative chicken dinner available.)

Saturday we will welcome lawyer Chris Farmer. Chris is a well-known lawyer who specializes in funeral industry litigation. We will also have our AGM, formal banquet and be entertained by hypnotist, Ian Stewart.

With Sunday education being such a success in Moncton last month, we will again have education on Sunday. Life Expressions Ltd. has graciously offered to bring Karl Wenzel, CFSP, to our Convention. Karl’s extensive work history speaks for itself and we are delighted to have him join us.

Sponsorship information will be released in early 2019 and registration information will be released in June 2019.

Thank you to each and every one of you who has supported the APFD&SC in the past and we hope to see you in Nova Scotia in September 2019! Speaker bios will follow in the coming days.

Can’t wait!
